Heh, need a CL for that…. When I have time to research it I will look into settings but right now I just do not have the time, if someone else wants to take the torch, be my guest, until something is done or gives me something to work with it will remain FFA Hardcore.
I know it needs a new map rotation, also a few settings need to be tweaked.
If we use gamecreate. I think it will be easy for us to change/ setup stuff.
I know derrick is using gamecreate for his servers. He says it works well. Just trying to build some name brand here.

So more than one person (AKA the CL’s) can edit their server files w/o harm to the box.

nothing really, but since we are 10 post off topic now. the debate was why you gamecrate.
it will easly alow settings to be changed: map rotations, cvars, exc.
So our FFA HC is kinda empty…. Think kuros is the only one that said he saw ppl in it. But as much as i check it thats kind of hard to beleave.
I would sudject making the mode alternate between everything but sabatoge. Maybe at the lan we can get people to play in our server to see if anyone else joins….
WCU gets confuced with war craft mod all the time.. Lets make our server name a little more creative.

you get the idea, what makes our server stand out? put it in the server name.
The problem is that our name is to ling; it ends up saying “Western Carolina Unive”
and that is it, which is why they changed it to WCU I think. Maybe change to wcugaming.org fast HC
gotcha, I like your idea. This also brings ppl to the site.
Also we can have a scrolling banner “wont to apply for admin, go to wcugaming.org.
Once we have a admin group community builds around this group. (see source) only problem is we need people in their to begin with.
Does anyone know the exact # of characters allowed in server name? i think we should run with this idea

gotcha, Just a quick scrol down the server list confirms this.
Also noticed Colors.. Anyone know what would stand out?
Colors? Red, Yellow, Orange… Those stand out, don’t know what colors you can use though.
Beyond that, TDM Hardcore is always fun.
I like FFA but only like once a day for 30 mins. Its too much of a spawn/die instantly fest. You should join a 50 person shipment FFA… it is hilarious.
