Hey guys. I have had the idea to make an official club T-Shirt for awhile now. Here is my challenge to everyone: Lets get a logo made up?
It needs to be a Solid color, probably solid white, and of course look awesome. I already have talked to some local T-Shirt makers on pricing, and they are all for it.
Pricing would be what we pay for it, which is no more than $13 per shirt.
For any photoshop geniuses out there, your help is needed!
I am actually going to throw down a gauntlet here. If you make the best logo for the club, I will personally buy you a T-Shirt.
So post back guys on your ideas.
I have been hearing plans for a t-shirt since I first joined the club. I am skeptical, but if you can actually get it done, I will buy ten and declare you the best president ever.

Not to be a negative nancy but this is like the 4th or 5th time a club t-shirt has been attempted.
On a less negative note, if you get one made I’ll definately buy one.
Get in touch with Nickname, he made his own shirt with the controller logo and might still have the graphic he used as a source.
Talk to nurayz he does some good stuff. Im sure he will be more then willing to help out with a design. I would buy one even though I dont go to wcu.
Wow, thanks for the positive support guys, this is something I REALLY want done.
The main shirts I want are a purple and gold one, for western colors, a cool looking red one (cuz I like the red), and then a green, black, or brown color just to be different. The beauty of the guys im going through is they have TONS of shirts to print on. When we make an order, I just tell them what colors, and bam, there it is. They have some cool looking pinks (for the girls), reds, nice blues, just all kinds. Our order can mix and match, so no problem there.
We really just need a good logo, and thats it.
The only thing is, there is a first time $35 art fee, cuz all t-shirt businesses have some fee like this. But Im thinking if we make the one solid white image, they said they can recolor it in the printing software to mix and match colors. So we can make purple and gold, or red and white, or what ever.
All the positive support has pushed me to get this done. My goal is by the first LAN at the latest. I want the shirts to be ready by the first meeting, so we can show them off everyone, but its ok if not.
Now, that $35 fee. I was thinking we could either use club money to pay this (not my fondest idea), have the executives chip in like $5 a piece, or just have anyone who wants to donate a few dollars to the art fee to get it gone.
The best way to do things like this, but also what has held us up in he past is to find a sponsor for it. Some body who has the money and wants to donate to the cause, this is how in the past the gaming club did a lot of things, when it works it works really well, when it doesn’t you never get your feet off the ground.
I would suggest testing the waters with Keith Corzine, if you don’t know who that is then as president now it is high-time that you meet him. He is the main guy for us, paid for the servers that we run these forums on and our game servers. If you can propose to him a good reason for having the shirts he might just sponsor a good bit of them, once you get enough people buying the shirts you will easily be able to use the revenue from that to purchase more shirts, new designs, so on and so forth. No when you talk to Keith, you have to word it in a way that says, “by the gaming club having these shirts it will mean that we will bring more people to WCU, because they want to play games and wear our shirts, looking cool while doing it.” Not verbatim just the idea that this is what you want to do, as that is the basic and foremost principle I think for the gaming club.
Just advice take it or leave it, I would definitely buy a shirt, I mean I bought underwear for my girlfriend that had the wcugaming logo on it

Yea, it was cafeexpress.com, i think they got shut down/changed names. cant seem to pull there website up. But I was talking about pics of them on Becca

Btw, I back this request as well.
I think Nickname designed those because he got tired of waiting and just wanted something even if it wasn’t club approved.
If that’s the same thing he has, it looks really good, except Cafepress pulled a Cafepress and messed it up <_>
