Nickname / Mike Russell

Hello, I am Mike Russell aka Nickname. I have been a member of the club since the beginning of 2006 when I attended my first LAN event (UT 2004 – I placed 8th in the tournament). Since then I have been here trolling the forums fairly regularly, especially for the past year and a half. I have been the TF2 Council Leader and am now the Left 4 Dead Council Leader. Since I work for Networking at WCU, I have been dubbed the unofficial “IT Networking Liaison” which basically means I have to fix the servers when they break if the problem isn’t something that was caused by Liam

Plans after school: I am getting married June 27th to the most wonderful person in the world, my high school sweetheart Susan Hays. Since she got accepted to UNC-Chapel Hill’s Physical Therapy program, we will be moving down that direction so I am hoping to get a job down there doing tech support and/or server/network administration.

Claims to fame:

– Member of TF2 team that dominated ASU at Applan

– former member of winning LAN teams for COD4 and TF2

– worst CSS player at WCU

Games I play: Left 4 Dead, CSS, Oblivion, Battle for Middle Earth I&II, Fallout 3, Titan Quest, all of the Half-Life games.

– 90% of my posts are in response to MasterP. We like to argue but it is friendly argument, don’t worry. (usually at least)
