    Hey Hey,

My razer copperhead died on it’s 25th month active (of a 24 month warranty). It slowly died (by disactiviting itself while in use but it finally just committed suicide today).

I absolutely loved the look and feel of this mouse. The next step up is the razer lachesis but I have read many mixed reviews about it. It seems to have some problems that still need to be worked out.

I need to buy a new mouse (but am clueless as to which mouse to buy). As I said I really loved the feel and speed of the copperhead so if anyone can recommend a good mouse for regular use/gaming I would love them forever.

    Sincerely,

i got 2 copperheads from woot for like 20 or 25 bucks… i love them..

also had the G5, which also kicks *edited*. though it feels way different than the copperhead.

copper head is a finger (thumb and ring) type holding mouse and the g5 is more of a palm mouse. same with the mx512

all are good, if you liked the copperhead why not just get another they are cheap

I guess the reason I didn’t want to buy another one is because I don’t know the advancements in mice over the last 2 years. Is it still a good mouse? Is a better mouse going to show this one up?

I didn’t find this mouse comfy and first but I learned to love it. I’m sure I could learn to like another mouse’s feel. Is there a logitech mouse out there that is supposed to kick this mouse’s butt?

Yea, that is where I originally purchased it from. I have looked pretty often and haven’t seen it up there so it is a bit sad. My only backup mouse is a POS that isn’t working too well. I feel I’m going to have to buy one soon and may not be able to wait for woot.

And I can’t believe the MX revolution only has 800 dpi. A 100 dollar mouse seems that it should be a bit better….

i have the lachesis and it is great i have had no problems with it. it feels great, is light weight, and fast as could be a 4000 dpi

i heard that it locks up from time to time and can’t go a direction. I also read that it skips. Is this not the case?

I have the G5 and I ALWAYS use it at the 800dpi setting… same for my old ideazon reaper. Unless you REALLY like a super high dpi, its pretty worthless IMO

yea, they were weird on the copperhead too, but i only used them for weird bindings that i didn’t really use too often (like for hard jumps and stuff to change my sensitivity)

How much did you spend on it?

Im using G5 DPI 2000, you can set up 3 diff DIP’s and change it with a button on a mouse. Kinda cute and also has weights in it so u can adjust the weight of mouse you want to touch ^.^ ;)

i have the razor krait right now. i really liek it because its uber light and is wicked fast (had to tell windows to slow is down) because its insane fast compared to my old gaddamn G5 which was the spawn of the devil.

honestly tho, the krait is kinda weird with how i have to hold is cause my hands are big and it is small so if u have large hands go with the mx190 or whatever masterp has because that will feel 100x better. krait ive just gotton really used to so i <3 is now.

an it lights up too!!!! lol
