This is possibly the biggest news ever as far as competitive gaming is concerned. ESPN – Yes the sports television network – is partnering with MLG – Major League Gaming – the biggest and most successful console competitive gaming circuit. MLG by itself has gained the attention of the US Navy, GameStop, USA, and G4, in addition to sports celebrity and NBA star Gilbert Arenas. Now ESPN.

Now you see why I wanted to go to MLG Charlotte.

I never liked MLG but it has gotten fairly large. I have watched it on tv a few times.

I competed in MLG Charlotte with rainbow 6 vegas, it was an unreal experience. A group of us from Norton hall are also competing in the call of duty 4 tournaments MLG has online.

I at least want to attend an event and compete in something. I’m pretty decent at all the games they’ve had on circuit. But, with their points system, I got dropped from a Halo team due to seeding. Yay. Anyways.. maybe this season, or I can stick to online stuff.
