so ive given up on trying to get winamp and itunes to not *edited* up every song i have in my computer so i now rely on youtube for my music desires. Recently I have been finding more and more UBER sweet videos to the songs i always liked but have never seen the video. I thought i would share a video each day of what i thought was UBER sweet and why it was so.
video #1 American Band – Grand Funk Railroad
this one is pretty easy to like. first heard it on int he movie “Sahara” (you kno that one everyone hated but i loved) and just today i saw the video for the first time. LIKE SERIOUSLY… why cant we still have ‘fros like that today. that was awesome. good classic 70 song, always enjoyable. i also love it when the drummer is the singer
music video every day?
I don’t think you can keep up with those kind of numbers. That’s three hundred and sixty five videos a year.
Don’t let us down Major. I’ll never love again if you do.
dude that is awesome, the drummer is the singer!!
Mind If I post some on here too?
This one is one of my favorite songs:
Takes a little while to get going but it’s a good one
u can post music videos if u want…. the point is to explore new and old music. imma still try to post one everyday lol
This is Alias, my ringtone and second favorite song by In Flames. My favorite is dead end, but I couldn’t find a music video for that.
So I give you dead end with the wrong album cover in the background.
Dice sent me a pm with funkytown in it and I was like SWEET FUNK I HAVENT LISTENED TO THAT IN A WHILE…. but somehow in the vast randomness that is youtube funkytown lead me on a trail of videos that lead to one of the best songs from one of the best albums made.
Video #2 Undone(The Sweater Song) – Weezer
WTF IS WITH THE DOGS…. that was so random in my opinion. I also loved the drummer going crazy at the end… lol
Honestly one of my personal favorite song from years past. The Blue Album was one of my first CDs and i remember listening to the whole album constantly. I guess part of the reason i love it is because of the memories it came with and all that good old innocent childhood stuff. Album opened with the most epic opening in My Name is Jonas and yea…. just freakin awesome. im guessing now i have to binge on this CD again.
Superb taste in musica Major. Also, that drummer looks so badass. I would totally want to look like that if I lived in the 70s.
Also, Weezer video is not working for me.
This is Randy Newman’s Sail away.
Yes, it’s about slave trading. And yes, he also did the Toy Story soundtrack.
*edited*… i am mr. slacker
Video #3 Soul Man – Save and Dave
How could you not like this song. I honestly never knew who this song was buy until i found this video on youtube. It was always the “blues brothers” song, and little did i know it was these guys. I love this song and its great to finally put a face to the song.
It’s one of my favorite movies,
“Its about 100 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses.”
“Hit it”
