Btw, since when did being vocal against the president on national TV become something that’s frowned upon? Just a few months ago it was something that would get you elected…
no no i understand that, but the fact is him yelling out during the speech *edited*ed off 100% of democrats and probably 70-80% of independents, which pretty much guarantees he loses an election.

No man, its cause he said “you lie”, there is some written stipulation that you can’t call the president a liar at a joint session. They yell out all the time, it happened to bush, and it happens to Obama. Yelling yaaaayyy or nayyyy is one thing, but calling the man a straight liar is just not true. Read the *edited* bill, it says if you are illegal then you don’t get anything under the plan. he also trying to do something about the illegal immigrants which is probably why so many conservatives are *edited*ed. I mean how much does it take to ship an illegal back to where they came from anyway? They are working here, get paid and taking jobs not the average American would take or want.
hopping off that tangent, I found it ridiculous that they had to rebuke him. He apologized twice, give the man some slack.
Oh and the race card thing they are trying to pull, definitely scheming there. Not that I care, i voted for the guy. Anyway check this, he is planning to come to Texas A&M University in october. Now, why would he go to the most conservative public school in the nation? Perfect plan imo, i bet one of my fellow agtards is going to do something stupid. You know before the election, there was this political carnival where they had sticks with obama and clintons heads on sticks, and posters where you could throw an egg and it. tangent number 2 off.

They don’t NOW. The bills being discussed in congress at the time of the speech did allow for illegals to enroll in the plan. Hell even in the new plans there are loop holes that would still allow them to get it under the “resident alien” clause. Essentially “illegal aliens” can’t get it but “resident aliens” are required to have insurance and are not expressly denied access to enroll in the public option. I mean at this point we’re splitting hairs. Obama should come right out and say that ONLY citizens will get access to the public option, but he never has and IMO never will.
You mentioned he was doing something about illegal immigrants, I had not heard this. He wouldn’t happen to be tossing them in a new category would he? One that’s not quite as harsh as illegal alien but not quite as legit as citizen? Maybe something in between, like “resident alien”?
