that there should be a stipulation in the club constitution so that we dont play the same game at a lan party twice in a row…
Maybe I’m the only one.
mabe a good idea as the club grows bigger…
It just makes since to play the game that the majority of the people vote…
In the past we do a tourment Setup for the ‘Voted’ game. and after that is over we can switch to play anygame we have.
i think that if we cant get 30 people to vote we must go with the popular game. If you think that we should play another game other than Counter – Strike, please get your friends that are going to come to the lan to vote for it. We only have 13 votes. Get them to signup for the site and vote 14 votes for the game that you brag to them that you tell them is 10x better.
its not just CS though i mean its not my #1 favorite game I understand where you are both coming from I just like more variety myself
We planned on doing 2 games for the lan. I know you guys like variety. And to be honest most of us need some. But there are 2 problems with variety. The first problem is support for the gaming. Having the game ready to go by the lan event, and the issue with people who can’t bring their computers to the lan event and want to use the lab machines. If those computers will support the games after installing it or them. The last issue is if we do a variety of games each computer needs all the games installed. I dont want to spend a week setting up a lan. Its not cool. However Appstate uses a room like the Grandroom in the UC. and everyone has to bring their own computers. It works out for them, but isnt as organized as ours. We could go on and on about this … .. .. .
