Hoooly Crap Left 4 Dead 2

God, I dunno what to think. I would say excited but all valve is doing is giving it new skins and making you pay another 50 dollars for a game. I really like the idea of more characters and more maps, as I feel it would add new dimensions to the game or make it not so boring. Is that supposed to be in Latin America or something? And is that a huge black man as a character? God I hope so…. Hopefully the story links to the first one and/or there actually is a story this time.

Isn’t Left 4 Dead less than a year old. It isn’t like Valve to come out with a sequel so soon. Wouldn’t they just make updates to the original game for years and years?

I am tempted but I dont really agree with the idea of a whole new game already. I think that I may have to save up money for a better computer no matter what now…with l4d2 and d3 and s3 i just wont know what to do.

Um valve is greedy and doesn’t like to fix their *edited* hmph I just bought this stupid game

Yes, but they are totally different games. L4D1 and 2 look pretty much the same. I kinda thought that Valve would just release updates for L4D every now and again, like TF2.

right… like may this another expansion after you beat a bunch of stuff…cause that forces you to get better at the game or just give it in general and cross the characters in game and what not it would add an entirely new dimension to the game… by giving these characters their own “real” story plot but also being able to pick *edited* up and use it on maps we already have.

but couldnt they still just update origi L4D with these updates than making a near identical game and throw a “2” on it?

Odd how no one seems to understand that concept.

This is going to be the CS16 of the L4D series. The one people play in protest to Valve making an even better game. Those evil developers should have known that you can never follow a great game up with another great game, and if you do ever cross the streams like that you must wait at least 5 years so that the community has had ample time to die out.

We ALL know if you don’t give players three years to get 58 achievements they’ll rage at you.

anyways…i do think its too early to follow up the game but zombie hype will always be around, we feed (pun intended) on the scare tactics of zombies so therefore having another game come up would be perfect.
