hey, i just installed CS:S on my comp at home, everytime i try to launch it, it goes to the preparing to launch window, then it looks like its about to load, that little window goes away and then nothing, granted this computer is a peice of *edited*, anyone know what the problem is? i go back to school tommorow, so im installing on my good PC, so its not really a big deal

anyways briefs are you installing on a laptop if not what video card are you using?
Im back at school now, unfortuneatly I just realized I forgot disc 1 for CS:S in my comp at home
(((i tried dlin it from steam … it didn’t work and it told me to put in the cd i got the package one idk about neother ones

Uhm, you do know that you can download that for free. Right? Most college campuses have enough bandwidth to make CS/CSS/HL2/TF2 an overnight deal. Hell last time I downloaded them on campus I was getting 1-2MB/sec.
