well i have never played 1.6 before the lan and i almost made it through the first round. i got 6th on my team… i went like 12 and 8 or 9. not too bad for never playing it, lol
the first time i played, like without knowing the controls or anything and not having played any othjer steam/valve games, i probably went 2/ 30 or so lol
i think they could at the next lan if enough people want it. you just have to bug adam and everyone else till they vote it =). theres 2 lans a semester i think

He is right, if you can show me that atleast 10 people want to join the club and take part in the tourney we can do it. Ill be your first person, you need 9 more and some xbox’s and games.

in other words you can say your going to wcu and come to the lan and then change your mind =) doubt anyone would do that but its a possibilty. lmao
i can get some people, a good amount to come to the halo 2 lan if you can get it started, like the place and all. i can get a good number of people and the xbox’s/360’s but prob not the tv’s. but i can get a good # of ppl to come if you want it to be big.
i also like the comment about the *edited*box there nodice….maybe if you were good at xbox games you would’nt bash it. who knows maybe you can come to a halo 2 lan and play..lol
he will come to the lan anyway, it is not just one game. i think they play 2 games one of which is usally cs 1.6, so halo would be a second game and it would probably be in 2 different rooms

I wonder if you would allow me to bring a keyboard and mouse and plug it into your x-box for the tourney. If you haven’t noticed there really isn’t a huge diff between the two games. I know my brother found out that he can whoop me up using a controller, but when I got the keyboard and mouse it’s a VERY DIFFERENT story.

ueaj adaam you sure can. i have of of those adapters to use a keyboard and mouse to the normal xbox. it works alright but not as good as it does on pc. well the main defference between the two games as you know is you can run and shoot instead of camping and waiting on someone to come you can run after them. kinda hard for campers to win at any game but espically halo 2. lol this will be fun if it will happen.
lol well 4 people to a tv kinda sucks. its hard to see and its really annoying. 360’s can hoook up to computer screens with a vga cord. i also have i cord to hook a normal xbox up to a pc screen. you can get some of those if you like. of find some tv’s.
