SC2 will end up just like SC. Fun to play online for the first month or two then ridiculously retarded after that. Once the 24/7 players get their strats down it’ll degenerate to the same old SC we have today where the only fun is in single player, LANs, and friend pickup games.
I am so stoked about this game. Looks like they improved some good stuff; I am hoping this game is a lot like Titan Quest.
I’d rather it be more akin to diablo 2 than titan quest. TQ was good but it still didn’t keep my interest like D2.
Beyond that, SC was fun for a long time for me. I won about 50% of my games and fighting the AI was always a blast with friends. 2pv6ai was always insane!
I think SC2 and D3 will be great and fun for a long time. Blizzard has the talent and money to put every bit of polish needed for both of these games.
I loved SC. I played from its release till about 2006 or 2007. My account just got recently deleted. I had like a 2:1 ratio.
Comps are pretty easy if you turtle really well, lol. I mean, for the 2vs6 games. They’re usually really easy, but that many comps are beatable if you turtle. I could usually take a couple out in the beginning with dts.

I play a lot of Use Map Settings….but I lost my life to it once I can do it again… I really don’t think that after a month of online play it will become the og.

I played only every now and then and only certain maps, haha. Like hydra ranchers. That was a fun madness map. I played MTG a few times (also fun). Umm… I played some defense maps a long time ago. That was it.
It was all 2v2v2v2s (which are the best), 3v3s, or 4v4s for me. Sometimes 2v2s, depending on who my teammate is.
I wish world in conflict was more popular. I think its a sleeper game. Playing that game with friends is a blast. Best RTS for drop in / drop out gameplay.
When it comes to first choosing a class in this game, I might be sitting at that screen for half an hour.
So excited for this
