I like the idea of matching the clubs website to WCU.edu but i dont think it should be set as default until it is finished and looks somewhat decent.
Well, y’know, that whole thread I started, “Let me know if you have any trouble?” I’ve not had any reports about the default skin.

and nothing is wrong with it,, it works perfect… but the theme colors is not matching anything… old or new site.
I’m all for setting it default when its completed, but its kinda hafeass (no offience to whoever was/is working on it) but since its not 100% completed, i just say its better to set the purple as default into the gold ones its finished. makes us look look simi professional… as it is now it looks like a 2ed grader was mashing buttons :glasses:

basically I need someone with some time to get someone and ask them if they dont mind. We had to do this last time.
Not a problem .. I have a different designer for the job.
I would personally rather derrick do it because of the price difference, but I do understand the issue.
Simpweb is doing the work more or less so dont worry with it. The only person with access is me. I post the project not the designer. IPB was the only exception.
Can i get someone to go down to ITS and get them to pass the ok on this? I cant get anyone on the phone.
My designer needs a document that says they are ok with this.

What do you need and who do you need it from? “ITS” is WAY too vague.
I really dont know who. I would go to ITS and ask for the person who is in charge of web design.

The problem is there is no central ITS anymore; they are scattered all over the university in Hunter, Stillwell, Belk, HFR, Forsyth, etc.
having you live at the university your means for communication and chances for finding a person to help are alot greater than mine. I would just walk down and ask inside forsyth if thats where they keep their programmers locked up still.

Can you find out who we need to talk to in order to get permission to use the existing theme / css layout from the http://www.wcu.edu website, and go talk to them about it so we can get this project started?

I have sent him an email and voicemail. The voicemail i sent to him was 2 days ago. So today I called back. They told me to send him an email.

I was referred to you by Brian in ITS to talk to you about the new website redesign. I am the founder of the WCUGaming Club and was wondering if we can redesign our website to reflect the WCU’s website. The reason I am contacting you is because the Designer that I have on staff requires the approval by WCU to use the logo’s colors and image that the new WCU website portrays. I really don’t want to get into any copy write issues at all. The gaming club is a part of the university I think this would help Brand us a little better. If this does happen what resources do we have for disposal from you guys. I remember there being talk about integrating us into the schools CMS, but it seems that we will not have the same control that we currently have on our web server. Let me know your thoughts on this.
