SpectatorTwo classics are officially abandonware now, System Shock and System Shock 2. If you’ve been doing this as long as I have (not neccessarily with WCU) then you’ll remember these games quite nostalgically. Better still, as abandonware, they are legal for download. Just an FYI, it’s always good to let the younger players know where games like F.E.A.R. and Doom 3 came from. If anyone cares to find them or has already found them but can’t get them to run under the NT kernel, let me know, and I’ll help you out as best I can. Took about an hour per game to get them to run on my machine.

SpectatorNo problem, and it was cool to meet you for a brief 13 seconds even under such crappy circumstances. So far no IP conflicts today, but I haven’t been at the machine much either.

October 12, 2006 at 12:41 pm #13091Kuros
SpectatorWe actually had a rule in my group of friends that played that no one could be Oddjob cause he’s such a cheater being all tiny and all.

Well….its for n54 yes, OR its for PC emulated, depending how you look at it. Either way even when I had an n64 I thought it was the coolest thing. I was only 9 years old lol. Hours well wasted playing 007 Goldeneye, and Zelda.

SpectatorI played 007 a few hours when I was small. I hope this console thing blows up in the gaming club so we can bring back some of the old games.

SpectatorWe should do a classic tourney, like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 or something like that.
October 12, 2006 at 4:07 pm #13104jelleyman
Spectatoreh, if your going to go with a classic tourney… get something very classic like Street fighter i, or Battle Arena Toshinden for the original PlayStation.
October 12, 2006 at 4:09 pm #13105Kuros
SpectatorHaha Street Fighter Turbo=sweetness. Original Playstation isn’t as classic as like Sega or SNES, but an original Tekken tourney would be fascinating.
