Action: Report AbuseStatement: I’ve noticed that in the 1.6 server a couple admins (sticky, Chris, maybe Tiggle and probably others) are really quick to gag people. Most of the time its not even for anything bad. Just saying things. Not really that big a deal, but its kind of annoying seeing players being gagged for doing next to nothing…they’re not even spamming.
It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve played in the 1.6 server, but I’ve never seen any problematic actions by those admins.
I’ve seen them gag people, yeah, but usually only when they spam the mic and spam the chat. Never anything to be called abuse :\
Just sayin.
I play a lot of 1.6 and it’s been pretty clean while I’m there. Maybe people just know to behave when I’m around.

Same can’t be said for me however. I don’t even use the “raven” name anymore.

Some examples would be nice. We have people who come in here to appeal bans cuz they think what they did doesn’t deserve a ban, but it turns out that it does. Sometimes it’s cuz they don’t know the rules and sometimes it happens when the admin comes to explain the situation cuz the people who are appealing aren’t always so honest (not implying that you aren’t) and leave things out.
I trust that my admins do a good and fair job of regulating the server, if they gagged someone, i know there is a good reason for it

If at all possible, can you supply demos/screenshots of instances where you believe gags are being given unjustly? Send them to Adam37/MasterP if you wish to remain anonymous, but any proof or depiction of the scenario of the abuse would be helpful.
Add me to your steamfriends and I’ll look into any issues you might have had.
Me and the server logs are the best of friends.

he can stay anonymous to the community, its not like me or masterp would go and let everyone know who he is

If he doesn’t want us to investigate I mean that’s fine with us but for us to look into it further we do need more info than what’s been provided.
Check the logs. If I gagged you, it was either b/c you were:
a) racist
bothering othersc) disrespectful to admins

I’m sick and tired of writing each post so i’m just going to write it in this one.
1. Map votes by admins should at least have 3 different maps available to vote unless people really want one map.
2. Anyone that is gagged that I’ve seen have been due to spamming the mic, disrespecting other players, or disrespecting admins.
3. Your not very anonymous when you go onto another account that says “Dragula” and say sorry i forgot to mention.
BuDDy is causing nothing but trouble since he came back. Just get rid of him.
Anonymously submitting the same complaints over and over, making the club fight among itself. Seriously, just *edited* the hell off.
We ban SPAMBOTS here for spamming, so you may as well ban this <WE EXPECT BETTER THAN THIS FROM YOU> too.
