I thought I saw a thread on this somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it.
Anyways…..
I have been doing constructive things this summer which does not include CSS, but I did play briefly this weekend. One thing I noticed about the server that had changed was the adverts that pop up in the middle of the screen randomly. I know we need to advertise things, but the way it is being done now is very annoying and distracting. Can we come up with a better solution?
I have changed the advertisements so that they appear in the general chat with the admin (green) color. It is MUCH less obtrusive and people still get the point. In some situations it’s even easier to read than the white center chat.
Now that it’s in general chat I don’t think there will be any more complaints about the frequency of them.
Thanks a bunch. I have no complaints about the frequency, just the fact that they pop up in the middle of the screen.
