SpectatorSo depending on how popular consoles will be at the next LAN, as well as how much equipment and time is available to us, I think it’d be pretty awesome if we could throw around some ideas for free play games. I’m open to games of any console, retro or… not retro.
The main purpose of this is to hopefully reach out to console players who may be getting tired of the “same ol’ thing”, or perhaps just want to kill some time in between tourneys. The more people we can attract to the LAN, the more resources we have to find out what players want. So throw out some of your ideas here, even if it’s just a personal favorite, who knows, someone else might want to play that game, too. Maybe we’ll get some prospective tournament titles for the next LAN!
Personally I’d like to see Pokemon Stadium 1 or 2, as I have a copy of both, and are capable of FFA, 1v1, and 2v2 battles. Don’t deny it, everybody loves Pokemon. I wouldn’t mind some Halo, either.

SpectatorI vote Halos 1 and 2. Also some NFS ProStreet. I’ll bring a copy. I’ll also bring in R6:Vegas and Shadowrun as well.

SpectatorI would so do that.

SpectatorI haven’t played Rainbow Six: Vegas in a while, but I’d love to get in on some freeplay. Same with either of the Halo games, especially the first.
And of course, I’d love to play some Pokemon Stadium with anyone willing to test their Pokemon mastery.

SpectatorDamnit I didn’t bring my hacked yellow Pokemon GameBoy cartridge…

SpectatorRB6: Vegas is great, I also have a copy of that. I am curious to play the NFS game also. Perhaps Perfect Dark over GoldenEye? GoldenEye is good, But Perfect Dark has some of the same levels (the complex) really the only level you need. Plus more weapon versatility. I could probably find a copy. I am also interested in some halo1 and 2 play. both of which I have.
February 1, 2008 at 11:24 am #35296Chupathingy
SpectatorI also have Perfect Dark, and Starfox.
February 1, 2008 at 12:18 pm #35313Ephraim
SpectatorI just unlocked Luigi in Mario Galaxy. I’ll bring that.

SpectatorFinal Fantasy VII speed run. But seriously, pokemon stadium and halo sound good. Also, what about some fighting games like Tekken or Capcom vs. SNK, stuff like that.
February 1, 2008 at 1:00 pm #35315Oh Malley
SpectatorGuilty Gear is also another good choice but sadly I don’t have it. I would like to incorporate another fighter into the mix, possibly SF 3rd Strike. But alas, I know of no one who has it. SF 3rd Strike is evidentially a big competitive circuit fighting game.

Spectatorjust coz i really really really really really really really really really really (okay i think you get the point already) wanna play it can we has Ace Combat 6 there?
February 1, 2008 at 3:41 pm #35349Cacophony
SpectatorI’ll play Ace Combat 6 if it’s there and I know another guy who probably would as well.
I havent played it much (and I’m sure it’s no Ace Combat 4
) but I’ll still play.February 1, 2008 at 3:45 pm #35352TrebuShae
Spectatoroh my loooard I have played so much Guilty Gear XX and 3rd Strike (Eddie and Ibuki, holla holla). Oh Malley, you’ve just made me very sad. Unfortunately I have neither of these games. I’ve probably spent $100+ on a rare GG arcade machine back home, and an old friend and I used his modded PS2 to play a Korean copy of GG. The Nexus has one of the games, but it’s the really crappy one that came out in America.
Has anyone seen the new Guilty Gear game for the Wii? I heard it was pretty awesome.
Oh, and please please please bring Starfox.
February 1, 2008 at 3:50 pm #35357Grim Dingo
SpectatorI’ve got it on PS2. I don’t really know how it’d work on Wii
February 1, 2008 at 3:52 pm #35358TrebuShae
SpectatorMarshall you son of a jerk I’m sitting right behind you, basically live with you, and NOW you decide to tell me that you have my favorite fighter?! I don’t think I can sit in the same room as you anymore.
February 1, 2008 at 3:54 pm #35359Grim Dingo
SpectatorWell you still are so i’m not sure how much i can trust you’re threat, but i could probably get it sent up here. If i wanted to.
