Breast milk is killing cancer cells

A substance in breast milk can kill cancer cells, a Swedish study found. Patients with bladder cancer who were treated with the substance, called Hamlet, excreted dead cancer cells in their urine after each treatment, researchers said. The substance contains a protein and a fatty acid that are found naturally in breast milk. Hamlet can form in the acidic environment of a baby’s stomach.
