Uhm hello we have been complaining. And now the rolls have switched. The point you bring up is an ideal scenario. How the patriot act is suppose to work on paper. Like you, complaining, when you did about the potential abuse of power from obama, or total destruction of the (republican) U.S., I feared the potential abuse of the patriot act. Of course I think it’s okay for terrorists to get their phones tapped, but the whole problem of the patriot act was to allow the tapping of people over here. IDEALLY, they would tap the phones and read the emails of domestic terrorists, but the POTENTIAL for abuse also becomes available.
I can’t say the word bomb or gihad without thinking they might be listening. Security in exchange for freedom is perfectly fine in your eyes, but giving healthcare isn’t. Talk about *edited*ed up ideals. You would rather give up the essence of what makes america, america.
It’s sad that we have become a nation like this really. I can’t trust republicans, just like you can’t trust democrats. =/
Oh and btw, yes democrats voted for it, but I acknowledged that before, and it was signed in by a conservative (at the time) president.
Oh and btw, UNLIKE obama’s bill THAT HAS YET TO BE EVEN PASSED, the bill Bush signed was found to be unconstitutional.
Republicans want it there way or the high way. You don’t want to hear anything progressive, yet expect us to be bipartisan. You all could care less about people in this country but yourselves. It’s not surprising though, conservative is synonymous to stingy and inflexible
The only thing you got going is the fact that Obama and gang don’t have the balls to pass through their *edited*. It’s the only thing I find that very disappointing.
