I just built one with a 4870 graphics card, core2 quad, decent power supply from thermaltake, 4 gigs of corsair ram, gigabyte mainboard and even with a $200 monitor it was around 900 bucks. NONE of that is *edited*poor or offbrand. I don’t build *edited*ty computers and I’m offended that you would imply that I do. It would be easy to shave off some excess money from that build to get something decent that would last 2 years or so. Long term no way…but something to game with for a bit, sure.
