Houston won 2 games against Portland this season and Portland won one. One of the games Houston won was only 98-94 so Houston didn’t own Portland this season If you look at both of their records this season, they’re almost identical (home record, road record, overall record). Portland is also very big in the frontcourt so they can throw Pryzbilla and Oden at Yao. If the 2 teams faced up head to head in the playoffs, who would guard Aldridge? Scola can’t guard Aldridge!
Yes we have been known to lose round 1, but that is because we almost always play the Jazz…and for some reason we just don’t match up well against them. This year is different, because the jazz will lose to LA.
Rockets that can guard Aldridge:
Chuck Hayes?
Carl Landry?
Shane Battier???
3 deep is enough to hold that fool. Plus looking at the bracket, if portland goes on to round 2 they will have to play the Lakers, which I doubt they can win. If the Rockets can make it out of round 1, I see a close match in the WCF vs. the lakers. But we have to get some lucky *edited* in order to come out on top of that series =/
