What percent did McCain when in those primaries? Was it not an overwhelming percentage? And what percentage of voters were labeled independent? And of that percentage, what percentage voted for McCain? I know the independent vote might have shifted the figures a few points, but McCain had it in the bag regardless I thought?
I think the Huckster would have been solid. He knows how to communicate (has his own show). But my personal favorite republican was Ron Paul, which technically he isn’t a republican either. A bit of a loon, but I’m all for his stance on decriminalization and legalization.
