Yes, because Bush controls the entire Middle East oil market and can set the international price of oil at whatever he wants. What? If we run with this idea though, would you also be willing to thank Bush for lowering the price back down to lower than it was when he took office (inflation adjusted)?

That’s fair but there are ALOT of Clinton era people in his administration that had a hand in creating this market mess. You can’t fix a problem by using the same people that helped create it. Well you can, but it usually doesn’t end well.
