when posting something through report abuse, it decides to not put gaps in the right places, so here is the correct format for my post
i believe that there are some admin/execs here that are overstepping their boundaries, just as the title says. i believe they are the ones who are mostly responsible for bringing down the “approval rating”.
an example of such would be an exec threatening a regular with suspension because this regular posted something that is not in favour of the exec. here is a steam convo that was between liam and i

11:12 PM – Liam: Keep it up Urban. I’ll gladly ban you for 30 days.
11:13 PM – PyroDave: keep what up?
11:13 PM – Liam: err i believe thats up to the council leader…
though ofcourse your opinion matters very much to us 1.6’ers. no sarcasm i sware!
11:13 PM – PyroDave: that is on topic and true
11:13 PM – PyroDave: we value your opinion greatly
11:13 PM – Liam: Regardless.
11:13 PM – PyroDave: but its up to the cl
11:13 PM – Liam: You’re already on thin ice with me
11:13 PM – Liam: and no
11:13 PM – Liam: its up to both the CL and myself.
11:13 PM – Liam: I maintain the servers.
11:13 PM – Liam: Remember that.
11:14 PM – Liam: So if I dont think somethings a good idea
11:14 PM – Liam: I can and will nix it until its taken to the entire exec council.
11:14 PM – PyroDave: please show me in the constitution where it says its up to you and cl
11:14 PM – Liam: lol
11:15 PM – Liam: It is the duty of the Webmaster to maintain the servers, which host the games that the Club promotes, as well as the Website
11:15 PM – Liam: Right there
11:15 PM – Liam: bai now
11:15 PM – PyroDave: to mantain the servers
11:15 PM – Liam: that would be maintenance
11:15 PM – PyroDave: but who is it up to to decide what goes on them
11:16 PM – Liam: Maintain == add things?
11:16 PM – Liam: The CL can configure the servers however they wish
11:16 PM – Liam: Provided that does not cause a detrimental situation.
11:16 PM – Liam: Now
11:16 PM – Liam: honestly
11:16 PM – Liam: I have better stuff to do.
11:16 PM – Liam: I’m just warning you.
11:16 PM – PyroDave: thats not a warning thats a threat
11:16 PM – Liam: I will not deal with you or your smart *edited* comments.
11:17 PM – PyroDave: there is a handy lil ignore button
11:17 PM – PyroDave: as well as remove from friends
11:17 PM – Liam: There’s a handly lil suspend button too.
11:17 PM – PyroDave: the latter of which i shall now employ
11:17 PM – PyroDave: thats a command not a button
11:17 PM – Liam: actually its a button
Liam is now Offline.
whether or not i am on “thin ice” with liam, he has no right to suspend me from the club in general. like the multiple times where he has banned me from irc. if he does not like what i say then he can add me to ignore on irc, yes guys theres a button for that. along with adding me to his ignore list on these forums, yes guys theres also a button that does THAT. i’ve personally taken the liberty of removing him from my steam friends and adding him to my ignore list on irc. i feel that if there is anything that he needs to communicate to me, it can be done through forums via a new thread or via personal message.
one of the times he banned me from irc was when he thought he was on my ignore list because i was not responding to him in irc. i was not at my comp at that time just for the record.
