We are currently on a search for devoted new admins for our two Team Fortress 2 servers! If you are interested in being a server admin, please read below.
Requirements:
– Familiarity with Team Fortress 2
– YOU own a copy of Team Fortress 2 (so you are available to play!)
– You are willing to become a part of our WCU Gaming Club community, will become an active member of the forums and/or idle our IRC channel, #wcugaming.
– You will use good judgment in the server, obey and be familiar with server rules, and enforce them. See the general population rules for CSS here (they are essentially the same): http://www.wcugaming.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=8324
– You will stay active on one or both of the Team fortress 2 servers.
These are a little stripped down from our general requirements, available here: http://www.wcugaming.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5892
If you already meet the general server admin requirements, you will be granted full admin to the server. If you only meet the requirements above, you will be given a provisional admin position until you meet the general requirements. As a provisional admin, you will be able to start votes, mute, kick, and ban players, as permitted by the server rules. As a provisional admin, you will be held to a “1 strike, you’re out” rule if you abuse your privileges.
If you would like to apply for an admin position and meet the requirements above, you can apply here: http://www.wcugaming.org/forums/index.php?autocom=adminapp
Glad to have you on board!
