For example, yesterday on Dust 2, I and another person ran into B and there was someone behind a crate, and I saw him and tried to warn the other person, who inadvertently blocked the poop out of me and my bullets and got us both killed. Had friendly fire been on, I could have not only killed my teammate but also the bad guy, and at least one of us could have survived! I would say a friendly fire that does like 1/4 or 1/2 damage would be fun, with of course the good ol’ slay if you shoot a teammate in/around spawn. Just my thoughts…
