There was a power outage once on central campus at NC state, and since i lived there i believed it would be an opportunity for some awesome…anyways one of the girls hanging around at our suite suggested we make a slip n’ slide, and so we did, the floors are tile, so there was no need for any tarp or whathaveyou, and so we used soap and laundry detergent for the slickness…and so began the slip n slide…the power came back on, but we kept going and all was well in the suite untill the RD found us…you wouldn’t think that a woman would be such a *edited*, she flipped out and we all got 10 hours of community service, which really wasn’t all that bad…but it did seem a tad excessive. I suppose to be fair we were doing something pretty dangerous, as 2 of the 11 of us did get injured…minor minor injuries, my roomate banged up his ankle on a doorjam, it hurt but wasn’t handicaping in anyway, and i managed to bang up my right side of my hip…it was bruised but didn’t bother me unless it was poked.
oddly enough there was no alcohol involved in this incident… take from that what you will… all in all it was pretty fun, despite the community service, which i know maintain as making the whole thing a lot better
