Wrong. “10. Team stacking will not be tolerated. Clans may be broken up by player.”
READ: MAY
NOT READ: Clan stack.
Thanks. You too.
Actually, Liam is right. Clan stacking is not permitted and has not been for months now. The server is owned and operated by Western Carolina University, we do not support people’s clans and the school does not either. We do not want to give off any connotation that the school or club is supporting people’s teams so thusly, we split people up. If you wish to continue to try and exploit loopholes due to poorly chosen words and/or because the rules are not re-stated in multiple places then please, don’t.

Heh. Thanks. ^.^
Still though, the differing rule is just officiating the process of persecuting clan players, negatively effecting the server by forcing clans to play elsewhere and players who wish to join clans to look to other servers. Because it puts bias against clanners into play.
A less bias option would be to ban clan tags from the Server, but this would only serve as an example of how ridiculous clan persecution is and how non-enforceable it is.
You have admins and players a like shouting clan stacking when 2 clan members are on one team and 3 are on another because the rule allows them to do so. What are they, the clan players, to do? Leave their clan so that they’re not breaking a rule that eventually comes down to anger and spite fueled opinion?
When there are no admins, and often when there are, the Balancer is law. Then why when a clan plays on the server they can be automatically targeted and blamed for ‘breaking the server’ and forcing others not to play?
The rule is simply an aggresive and childish way to fight back, and causes the exact same problem is supposed to solve by forcing the clan side of the player base away from the server. If the original rule was enforced properly and hadn’t evolved to be a tool to lay blame none of this problem would exist.
Its night now, we should have good nights.
Actually, the rule was put in place because as I said earlier, the school does not support and will never support a clan of any sort. It isn’t exactly possible to ban clan tags from the server, else it would be rather ridiculous as you stated.
When clans are properly un-stacked, people don’t complain. Admins don’t try and split them up anymore because 3 on 1 team and 2 on another isn’t exactly an even split and never will or can be.
The clan isn’t breaking the server, the clan is breaking the rule of not stacking.
Clans can join and always will, but they cannot stack. I don’t see how this is forcing people not to play, I only see how it is forcing them not to try and ghost and stack the teams.
