Well for one Mitch, tell me where exactly it was that I said that I didn’t care about the PC side of the club. All I said was that the games suggested for the new server were pretty much the same games you guys are playing now, and its true. I didnt say I didnt want to support the PC side of the club, I do and I want to try to revitalize it. But I cant do this *edited* on my own, I need help.
Please explain how adding more servers is a bad idea. Any Left4Dead server we host will be full almost 24/7 and our current CSS server has a waiting line to join on most nights. With Left4Dead 2 coming out in less than a month and ModernWarfare2 just after that this is the PERFECT opportunity to drastically expand our online community. But now we can’t. Instead of getting an early start on the new games we’re stuck with a server incapable of hosting them.
Please quit judging our server selection and tossing the “you don’t know it won’t fail” around. If given enough admins and server resources it CAN’T fail.
Btw, the “new” games being played at the LAN aren’t hostable on our server anyway so until non-retarded suggestions are made we can’t really act on them. We’re willing to host almost any hostable game but we can’t make other servers suffer because of it.

And as far as CLs go, like I have said many a time before, I practically had to beg everyone at the meeting to take the positions open for the PC side of the club. Hell I even posted a thread on here a week or 2 before the meeting started and still, with the exception of like one or two people, practically nothing.
Like I said before, if someone at the meeting can’t fill the position don’t pressure people into taking positions they aren’t capable of filling. I set up the offcampus voting rules for this specific problem and they work extremely well. We have yet to have an offcampus CL not perform their duties as well as on campus CLs were.

As far as the Advisers go, Im just letting go of Ronny, he told me he didnt want to do it anymore. I wanted to find someone on campus who I see a lot and Carter is one of these people.
Letting Ronny go is fine. My problem wasn’t with the fact you were dropping advisors it was merely with the fact that you didn’t tell us or seek help when it was obviously needed. Between all of us we know a ton of professors and it’d have been easier on you to let us do that heavy lifting.

About Keith. I know you practically set up the meeting for me to talk to him but for the past couple of weeks, but I have been busy with classes and such. Now you can sit there and say whatever you want about however many hours your taking, all the stuff your doing, but frankly I dont care. Ive been busy with classes (which is more important than this club to me, priorities, I have to make good grades to keep my financial aid) and gaming club stuff on top of having to take Kelley to doctors appointments because she keeps having seizures for some reason. So about Keith, Ill get to him when I can, my priorites are line, this club is not going to be my life. If you think i should only care about this club and ONLY this club, vote to remove me from office.
I never said don’t focus on RL but running a club takes ALOT of time. I can’t remember the number of sleepless nights spent fixing crap on the servers or dealing with admin drama when I should have been studying or doing homework. This is something that should be considered before running for president. I know you think you’ve got it rough, but now you understand what the rest of us have gone through. You’ve got it no harder than the rest of us have had.

And you say I agreed with you all the time when you were here? ROTFL! This coming from the guy who told me Soul Calibur IV would be a bad game to replace Mario Kart Wii because Mario Kart Wii had better sells. LOL. I’ve tried to go through with some of the things you have suggested but sometimes, it does not work out or isnt very popular among the majority of people that show up to the meetings. But Mitch, I’ve always given it to you straight, whether it be on these forums or in person.
I can name on one hand the number of PC-related issues you didn’t agree with me on while I was on campus. Since then it takes hands, feet, and a TI-89 calculator to keep up with.

You on the other hand never brought things up in person that you didnt like, but instead waited to get on the forums and complain about it. So yea, if you want to come up here and talk to me about this because you think it will make me see things your way, be my guest, I live in Central C Hall 126 B.
There’s a reason for that. Every decision I didn’t agree with was made when I wasn’t around. Oddly enough the one you mentioned above was made at a “We’re just talking about rules” meeting that later turned into a “Let’s ignore the protocol and change games being played” meeting. It’s also hard to contact you when you don’t have a phone. You can’t sit there and tell me that if something I didn’t agree with was done at a meeting that I didn’t call your *edited* out on it on the spot because we both know I did. Quite often.
