K so lack of news has got around and communication so here is the rundown.
– Meeting Thursday 8:00 catamount room (3/10/11)
– Lan Saturday (3/12/11)
Today me and waffle ran around and posted some more fliers and I sent out some emails for sponsors. If anyone has any local or a recommendation for sponsorship please help promote the club. This lan is comming in fast and any sponsorship or help will improve the performance of the lan. If you have an pc, console, tv, or projecter email me dustincfaulkner@yahoo.com, call (910) 527-4940, or call Mike.
Here is what we need:
-I am not sure on the number of consoles,tv, projectors, or pc’s comming…so I am going to guess we need more
-The fliers are up but STILL a little late, next lan we will post before a week and half at the least.
-The members need to spread the word of the club more
-We “need” more sponsors
-WE NEED MORE COMMUNICATION
Following this thread I would like to make it a semester intro where every has to post their name, position, something short about them, and their usual tag. Seems like alot of people in this club go by their tags so please post something , ur name, real name, email, possibly phone number because communication is vital and knowing people is key for a club to grow.
Ex: Hi, I am Dustin Faulkner, I am a active member (maybe not alot on the site)I like games, women, and things that go fast. My tags are Ravax, Lyco, Osiris, Rorschach, or Fox. My views of the club is that it needs a little help building up. I believe that the alumni or “graduated club members” are people trying to help keep the gaming club fun and keep things in procedure because they have been there and done that. I love fps games, pc gamer for life, and I will take on any console gamer with a keyboard and mouse. I will order a xbox remote for pc if you want to try me ;]. If you ever wanna play a game text me. (910) 527-4940.
A positive opinion of alumni isn’t popular right now. If your plan is to get elected you should be trash talking us at every turn for our high crimes
Thanks for posting the info.
One note on fliers, the week and a half is very ideal. When done that early people have a full week to clear their schedules to come. People are less likely to show up to any event when they’re only given a few days notice. Well almost any event, I had less than a days notice before my last midterm
I would have posted them last week but it was Spring break and was working full time <3. They will be posted at least two weeks in advanced for the April LAN.
