I’ve wanted to do this for a while now. I’m going to post some of my favorite video game music. Feel free to post your own.
Let’s start off with something kind of obscure, but lovely:

Is it just me or did things just get rather epic in here?

Nice. I went to the Augusta, GA show in 2009. I was planning on going to the Charlotte show, but it wouldn’t fit into my schedule. I wonder if they have any new pieces?

Heres the two themes I play while playing Minecraft
Some of you might already know about this, but for the rest of you here’s the story: when Sonic CD was released in the US, about 2/3 of the soundtrack was altered for some reason. While the American soundtrack is very much above average, the Japanese soundtrack is one of the best OSTs ever released. Here is a brief sample of the awesomeness.

The Sonic CD soundtrack always felt like an afterthought, like the devs were sitting around trying to think of what needed doing to finish the game and were like “oh snap, i forgot, we need music”. Now I know why. I mean it was decent but just not up to par with the previous releases.
When this starts playing look at your 2nd monitor because odds are your base is getting raped.

Sounds like it’s from Supreme Commander but it’s not.
Soundtrack for the opening cutscene and first mission. May have been the “black sheep” of the series but still a superb game.
