Since CS:S was actually voted in, I think it’s necessary to discuss the rules and setup of the tournament.

In the past, the rules have always been as follows:

    • There are 3 – 4 elimination rounds of play
    • The rounds are 15-20 minutes long
    • Everyone auto-joins at the start of each round
    • (Sometimes interventions is needed to make sure teams are not stacked)
    • The top fraggers from each team are chosen to advanced to the next round.
    • This is usually done by taking the top half of players from each team but after the 3rd round only the top player from each team is selected
    • The final round is played 1v1 at long A on dust2 switching sides halfway through the round

We also need to discuss setting up the LAN server. I’m not sure how this is going to be done. I don’t have access to setup a server on the box, but if necessary I might could switch over the d2 server.

Also, suggestions on maps for the 3-4 rounds would be appreciated. Generally we play:

    • de_dust2
    • cs_office
    • de_inferno

I’d like to thank Raine for recognizing an epic moment in WCU CS:S history.

As of right now, I’m planning on it. Ballz said he would try to come as well.
