Weird problems, googles not much help.

So just moved again (~2 weeks ago) and have been having strange internet problems. It took us a week to get internet installed so the first week we moved in we were leaching internets from the neighbors. All is good until my roommate pulls into the driveway which interferes with the signal making it nearly imposable to get a website (have plenty of signal strength). His jeep has low-jack installed, only thing i could think it would be. He says the same thing happens when he goes to friends places.

Now its the end of week #2 and Internets been installed for the past 5 days or so and i get great speeds in my room (next to the router) but when I go downstairs I’ll have just as many bars but not able to browse, just get a white screen. (this is with or with out roomates jeep in the driveway)

LoJack operates on a frequency much lower than wireless networks and should not interfere in any way.

How old is the house and are the walls concrete?

Also, what is the make and model of your wireless card and router?

I have a similar problem in one of my office buildings. Everything says I have internet but I cant actually use it. At & t has been out there 4 times now and replaced the modem twice and no one has any idea why its happening. No issues at all over the past year until about 2 months ago. Any ideas?
