SpectatorSo I got my xbox 360 last weekend… and now I don’t know how I went so long without one. I used to think the PC was superior to the game consoles. I’m not sure what I think anymore in that regard, but I could easily see myself doing 75% of my gaming on the xbox and only 25% on the PC.
I also lamented the fact that you have to pay for online service on the 360… but it really is sooooo much better than on PC it is not even funny.
Now I just need to get better controlling with a controller and not a KB/mouse. That is the only thing that keeps me from going 100% xbox. I just dont see how I could enjoy games like Portal on the xbox when you just need the precision of a mouse. Maybe I will get better and it will be a non-issue we will see.
Also, Perfect Dark on XBLA is *edited*ing awesome.

SpectatorYou’ll never get the seamless precision from a controller that you do from a keyboard/mouse. If Microsoft thought it possible for XBOX players to compete equally with PC players they wouldn’t have isolated them on XBL.
Interesting fact: Halo2 PC was designed specifically to play with Halo2 XBOX on XBL. Right before release it was switched to a PC-only XBL server due to complaints from XBOX players.
Interesting fact: Games for Windows LIVE! is very similar to XBL and was originally an identical port. While signed in to Windows LIVE! you can interact with XBL players as though you were connected to XBL.
