The new server has finally been set up by ITS and we are in the process of transitioning the gameservers over now.
So far we plan to run the following:
15 CS1.6 redirect servers (27000-27014)
1 CS1.6 Server (27015)
3 CSS Servers (27020, 27025, 27030)
5 L4D Servers (27031-27035)
14 L4D2 Servers (27036-27049)
3 TF2 Servers (27050, 27055, 27060)
The server’s specs:

6-Core AMD OpteronT Processor Model 2435 (2.6GHz, 75W ACP)

I started all 14 Left4Dead2 servers…
Yes that’s 12 populated l4d2s and yes that’s a steady 3% cpu usage.

When i get some free time. We can’t move the mains over until everything is ready because once we swap the IPs we lose the old box.

If by P4 you mean dual AMD Opteron with 16gb ram and 6 10k SCSI HDs.
How are you going to keep the 1.6 redirects in different positions on the master server list?
Also, me and a friend joined a server the other day that had css bots running that had normal names, a real ping, showed up in the player list with playing time and everything. They even replied to some of the text messages we would say. It was pretty cool, but I can’t seem to find an addon that does the same. I did have an SM addon that would give the bots ping and normal names, but it didnt show in the player list.
Figured it would be worth researching
