If you’re a long way away from your router you might try a repeater.
Ill check that out MP. It’s not that I am super far away, there are a lot of walls in between, so maybe that is a problem. A couple other thoughts. First I did bandwidth test and i get about 10 mbps download and 1mbsp upload. Could the lower upload speed be causing the problem? If so, that is probably an issue with my isp correct?
I will also take a look at my rates and post if anything there is out of wack. Thanks again for your help MP.
Edit: Oh yea, I don’t really know what a modem does, but could that be any part of the problem? Also, is the fact that I have a netgear wireless card in my PC going to slow things down, or would it more likely be the netgear router? Or both?
