SpectatorWho else *edited*ing hates doing laundry, it’s so *edited*. I woke up today only to realize I have no clean boxers, I was like “wtf? I have 10 clean pairs of socks, numerous clean shirts, about 8 clean hoodies/pullover sweat shirts, and like 5 clean pairs of jeans/pants.
I did what any man would do, I rifled through my laundry hamper for the cleanest smelling boxers, administering the “smell test’ and visually inspecting them for *edited* stains. Doing laundry during the morning-evening is lame, too many people, too few machines.
I also hate that every time I put them in the dryer, if the load is even half of what they consider a “full load” they come out as damp as sweaty bawls.
To conclude, I was wondering if Toran, or any other vagina on here would like to come make 10 bucks or I could barter some dairy queen coupons.
PS – *edited* YOU DIRTY CLOTHES

SpectatorWinter laundry sucks, i dont mind laundry in the summer. but srly *edited* winter laundry
November 4, 2009 at 5:03 pm #96525MasterP
SpectatorGuys really? It’s not that hard.
The entire process takes 5 minutes of your time.
Btw, dorm laundry wasn’t a problem. If someone forgets their crap, after an hour or so toss it on the table/floor. One time at Reynolds someone left their laundry in the washer for a day or so and it ended up outside by the dumpsters. Idk who did it but +1 to them for epic balls.

How long it take you to put the clothes in the washer, swap to a dryer, then put pack in a hamper?
November 4, 2009 at 8:56 pm #96546torankusu
SpectatorTrue, laundry doesn’t take long. My comment was just saying that I’m not doing anyone else’s. xP

Step 1: Buy colorsafe detergent. 99.9% of them are.
Step 2: Put colors, whites, socks, shirts, pants, etc in the washer.
Step 3: Put detergent in the washer.
Step 4: Start washer using warm water.
Step 6: Put wet clothes in dryer.
Step 7: Start dryer using colors config.
Step 8: Put dry clothes in hamper.
Step 9: Fold/hang clothes and put away.
Step 10: ????
Step 11: Profit

Costs me $1.25 either way.
Some engineer worked really hard so that you could use a warm water in a washing machine. It feels almost wrong to not use his invention to the fullest. That and I like making power companies money.
November 5, 2009 at 9:06 am #96588B R I E F S
Spectatoryea, cold and hot water cost the same here.
I have figured out a fool proof way to get my laundry done for free, I don’t do it for about a month then go home, my mom does it, folds it nicely and packs it away.
November 5, 2009 at 9:13 am #96589MasterP
SpectatorOftly noobish but it does get the job done.
November 5, 2009 at 11:16 am #96603Duendes
SpectatorDepending on the machines you can get laundry for free. Are they hooked onto anything like a card swiper? Where you place the quarters, is it on top of the machine?
November 5, 2009 at 11:50 am #96606B R I E F S
Spectatorwe are issued a card that we can put money on, you insert this card into the machine and away it goes, it’s like the new debit cards, has the chip on the end of it.

I do both.
I wasn’t going to mention hanging up clothes since people are already whining about having to fold ones that were already dry. However, it takes no effort to switch to cold water. The cold water thing, I guess, applies more to people who aren’t paying a fixed rate at a laundromat. If you’re paying for utilities, using cold water helps to lower your bill.

If the machine with the actual card swipe itself has an electrical plug, unplug it. When you plug it in, the machine will reboot and the testing code is usually 0001 (or something real easy for maintenance to remember). Once your in, u can select the machine you want to use to “test” it.
