In New England (or maybe just Boston), they celebrate PATRIOTS’ DAY. It’s weird. I never heard of it till I moved here (nor did I ever hear of Evacuation Day). Patriots’ Day is supposed to commemorate the Battles of Lexington and Concord and Evacuation Day is the day the British withdrew from Boston or something.
I got the day off from class. Too bad it’s a day where I only have one! D:<
