I don’t agree with all of them (especially their pick for #1), but there are some *edited* good games in that list
Notables (to me):
23) Doom (why was this so low on the list?)
17) Crysis (just because its so bleeding edge)
15) Command & Conquer (the ancestor to 2 of my favorite games: Battle For Middle Earth (uses the CnC engine) and Command & Conquer 3)
11) SimCity
10) Call of Duty
9) Mechwarrior 2 (bought a new video card just for that game)
6) Half-life (HL2 implied as well)
3) Civilization IV (what I’m playing right now, forgot how fun that game is!!)
I couldn’t help but notice a complete lack of Incredible Machine. I take issue with this.

i strongly disagree as its way too much to have hl1 and 2 of its mods on the list. HL1 is revolutionary, you MIGHT be able to make a case for CS because of its popularity, but DoD doesnt deserve to be on the best games list even though I do like the game.

Makes me wanna play civIV again, but I lost disc2 (i think, maybe it was disc1), but I lost one of em, so can’t install it. Maybe I will buy it from steam when I build my new computer.
And, back on topic, I take issue with most of that, not sure where they were coming from, or what cave they lived it.

omg so i started playing civ iv again like 2 weeks ago… that game is totally baller I had forgotten.
Also I can copy my disc 2 and mail it to you if you want.
Warzone 2100 should be on that list. It set the bar for what modern RTS games must have to be successful.
