Several people have expressed an interest in banning decoy sprays from the CSS server.

choicy on words,, i would say not allow them, not ban them.
admins can always request for them not to be sprayed if its causing a problem.
I’d say ban them.. they were kinda annoying back when i still loaded sprays..
also the fact that people spray them with the intent of messing with people
That’s the entire point, they’re fun and they *edited* with people. And
I don’t think screwing around with people’s mind is against any rule.
Usually, most people don’t even load sprays which really makes
decoy sprays pointless no?
i’d say that some ppl dont mind it while others do….but most would say ban them but i think that if ppl are annoyed by them then the admins can just tell them to stop since there is so many admins it shouldnt be a problem.

As for the admins steppin in kong the point of this is to find out if admins will have any say over them spraying it or not.
i don’t load sprays, but also my computer is weaksauce
i’m not a fan of these, mostly cause they offend some sensablilty i have about how i feel the game should be play…but i also QQ all through COD4 about nade spam, so whatever.

SK3 was designed for air strafing and low gravity otherwise more than half the map is not accessible. The game was also designed to allow people to upload their own sprays. It’s up to the administrator on how those sprays and even how air strafing is to be implemented. I feel that if it distracts from overall gameplay IE a spray of a planted bomb, or a CT/T firing at someone it shouldn’t be allowed.
If you want to be an *edited*, at least bring something valid to the table. Obviously SK3 wasn’t designed for normal sv_gravity 800 etc.
You all know my opinion. And MP, I apologize for the unauthorized vote. I did not intend to make it appear that the poll would be the official policy decider, i just wanted to see where people stood on the issue. I just really like to make polls. Again, my apologies.
Honestly, with how often they are sprayed why is this a big deal. Obviously some admin got fooled by one and owned then came on the forums to QQ. You need to chill out and laugh and enjoy the game. If you are one of those douchebags that need to win to enjoy the game then gtfo.

I wasn’t talking about low gravity, I was talking about air strafing. Way to dodge the argument.
How often have you seen this in the last 8 months? Be honest.
I’m not gonna lie major, since I was the admin that brought this up it is fair to say i am the one QQ’ing. I think everyone here is rational enough to know that these sprays are rare and really don’t matter. It is the PRINCIPAL of the issue that is the real concern. I mean, if someone as bad as me had a problem with getting owned at CSS, you really think i would still be playing CSS? So yea, call it QQ’ing if you like, but I think that sort of ad hominem response is an easy cop-out that avoids the issue.

Decoy Sprays has been very unfair to other players ingame. Personally, I think he/she must be a hacker. Everytime I see this person ingame, they move really weird, like, they just aim at me, to the left, and then to the right, and shoot all the time, without reloading. No matter how much I shoot Decoy Sprays, they never die. It is so frustrating to empty a clip from an awp into someone and realize they are not dead, right Bananarchy?
This is not fair to the rest of the WCU gaming community. Hacks are not allowed on the server, Decoy Sprays, and infinite health hacks are not FAIR! *Bawls*
I vote to IP ban Decoy Sprays permanently.
I say leave them…simply cause they’re hilarious. I mean come on…I was playing a few weeks ago, and there was a dude with a “shadow” spray, which was as I said, a SHADOW lol. He’d put it on the floor, and it got me killed dozens of times…but it was hilarious lol.
Its all in good fun lol. Why take that away? When people start blaming death on sprays, they need to go play another game.
