I am on a journey. An epic quest. To find the perfect PC headset. I don’t care how much it costs.

A perfect headset includes the following:

    A crystal clear microphone

    Good in-game sound

Good music sound (For ALL genres)

    Decent Bass

    Comfortable Earpieces

    Good durability

The last headset I had was a Creative Fatal1ty. It had great in game sound, great music sound, AWESOME BASS, it was durable, and it flat out looked cool. However, the microphone sucked obscene amounts of *edited*….at the time, it wasn’t a HUGE deal, as I have a Samson Condenser DJ mic, which is the best microphone I have ever used….however…as awesome as the mic is, I don’t want to have to lug it and its giant *edited* stand with it to a LAN party.

The Fatal1ty headset tragically broke. Under MY OWN stupidity (cord wrapped around my chair…chair turned…snapped wire….right out of headset).

Now, I am dead set on finding the perfect headset with the perfect balance of all the features listed above.

Does ANYBODY know of a good headset? Preferably an OVER-THE-EAR cup style.

    Thanks.

I was told by Adam to get the 5+1 AudioFX force feedbacks from eDimensional. Despite reading nothing but bad reviews, I tried:P In game sound was AWESOME. Mic was great…music was good….but anything without alot of bass sucked:/

On top of that, reviews on the internet say so many things about these breaking easily etc.

Sennhieser makes one that’s pretty awesome. Those dDimensional ones are *edited*.

Sennhieser in general makes good headsets? Or is there any one in particular that you recommend?

I mean I have a cheapo plantronics that is both very comfortable and has a great mic; sounds great in game but the music is lacking a little. Perhaps some of their higher up models are better? I assume mine is the basic model cause I only paid $13 for it lol.

I don’t want cheapo. I want big intimidating headset that make people *edited* self in fear.

Is this a recommendation from experience? I’ve heard music isn’t the best on these, and the bass apparently bloze.

I got my Sennheiser over those. My particular Senns are USB but the regular ones are just as nice.
