SpectatorI started this profile back in high school so me and my friends could bypass the school’s filter, but now I’ve no need for it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I just don’t need any of this anymore. I just want the whole account deleted.

SpectatorWhat did you need an account for anyways? Arcade?
Why do you want it deleted as apposed to just not using it?

SpectatorIf theirs a legit reason why he wants his account deleted b/c of something like a forum bot spamming out mass emails or something like that we should know about it so we can fix it.
Its a hassle
Its not friendly on the database, i mean its not that big of a deal he only has 2 post and 5 high scoors in the arcade
Its does not help the forum statistics
I’m really just curious, never seen anyone on any forum that wanned to have their history erased?

Hmmm, I didn’t think of those Nodice; those are legitimate reasons I suppose. I know I have wanted to delete my account from a forum before, although there was a bit of a falling out with the administrators so I wasn’t comfortable with them having any of my personal information – I doubt that is a problem with this site. Other than that though, I can’t think think of a reason they would want it deleted.

SpectatorWe should never delete accounts IMO. The db isn’t going to like a hole and there are other ways to get around account restriction if that is what this is about (IE multiple email registering, etc).

SpectatorI guess it’s nice of him though, kind of like when you quit your job, you kind of say in advance, “hey im leaving”.
Sorry to see you go, whoever you are.

SpectatorHmmm, is the a IPB plugin janx that allows you to close your account?

SpectatorThe only thing about this site is that no matter what I do, there is always some kind of restriction in why I can’t play a game. If there was a way to fix this then I wouldn’t have a reason to leave.

Posts are kept (unless specified otherwise during delete), and the stats stay the same. Doesn’t lose a member. Deleting does nothing except remove his name from the active users list, and into what I like to call “the phantom category”, which is basically the guests group that you can’t edit:P
That being said, why delete him? No real reason to….I mean, meh. It’s just a pain in the *edited*.

Spectatorcan we make him “inactive”?

SpectatorUnfortunatley that’s not how it works. I do have a system on my forums though, that deletes users automatically, if they have under 5 posts, and haven’t logged in for over 90 days:)

Which is why new members are numbered 100,000+ right?
