Sorry if this is coming with the switch to the new system, but I wanna ask.
Is there anyway to enable the feature to nominate maps, so when the server gets low we can switch it to a more attractive map.
Set it to like min of 3 or 4 nominations, then when rtv rolls around that map is on the list.

I believe we used to have this but i think it got taken away due to the selected maps for the nominations
To what Xray said: Yes, we used to have it, and Xray is right. We took it away because the same maps would appear on the RTV list every single time, and so nominations were removed so that there would be variety. However, this is something that could be brought up again, in a poll, as long as the CL doesn’t object to it.
Just remember, when we had nominations, d2 was played like every 3rd map. Also, because of the rtv system that is in place, the current map is changed to the rtv’d map, not the next map, which allowed maps to be played twice in a row with some regularity.
Maybe if people voted for D2 so much, maybe then perhaps the map has some merit and
we should switch to it (back then). I mean should we just force different maps just because
it usually ends up in the same few rotations? Or should we just play those maps, because
that’s what people want/enjoy?
I think for the question about variety, it’s that we should definitely offer a variety of maps and
options. But, obviously, there are going to be some that are favorites, and others well, more
or less ignored, and should just let it be. Let the people in the server be happy its D2, or
scouts knives or what not, rather than changing a map no one really wants to play.
