Hello from the ASU Gaming Club

I would like to invite everybody to the AppalachLAN XIV

There will be cash prizes!!!!

Time and Place

* Grandfather Ballroom of the Plemmons Student Union (see Driving Directions)

* Saturday, 4/4/2009, Noon to 10 PM

Cost

* $10 for non-members that with to play in tournaments

* $5 for non-members that with to only free play (including table-top games)

* $5 for all club members

* Pizza will be provided at no additional cost!

PC Tournaments

* Team Fortress 2

* Call of Duty 4 Death match

Console Tournaments

* Smash Bros Melee

* Smash Bros Brawl

* Gears of War 2 2v2

* Fighting Game Medley

* Rock Band 2

Free play

* Anything you want to bring!

Did APP plan on doing that online TF2 LAN, i was really looking forward to that.

We’ll have servers going but no tournaments if anyone wants to run a tournament just email someone on the board and we’ll be more than happy to help set one up.

Lets see…. it’s more or less 3 hours to App, and I have 4 seats if someone doesn’t mind riding *edited*, so to get there on time to set up and stuff, I would assume leaving at…….. 8 am on Saturday

The online tf2 tournament is a plan we’re getting started for next year. It will be a weekly tournament one match per team per week with rankings and the finals will be at one of the Lan parties. We are also thinking about doing it with serveral games from CS1.6/Source to Unreal all the way to TF2.
