WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Friday struck down the Bush administration’s ban on giving federal money to international groups that perform abortions or provide abortion information — an inflammatory policy that has bounced in and out of law for the past quarter-century.
Reagan created the ban and every democrat in office since then has lifted the ban while every republican in office has reinstated it.
When you consider how much we are hated around the world it really doesn’t make sense to give money away as freely as we do, especially now that our budget has fallen in a hole deeper than Zion.
