can the xbox 360 be a home entertainment system?any special things you can do with the hard drive? can you link the xbox HD to a PC?
can you rip dvd movies, and CD music onto it and have it playback w/o putting the cd/dvd’s back in?
what are some of the non-gaming more practical fetchers of each system?
Well if you rip movies and convert them to MP4, DIVX, or some other format i cant remember off the top of my head, you can watch videos without the DVD on the PS3. You can also put MP3s on the PS3. Also, you can put LYNX on the system if you are willing to partition the hardrive. It also has a built in internet browser. You can also buy or even rent movies and TV shows on the Playstation Network. Im pretty sure their are more things that aren’t gaming based with the PS3. If your interested in that though, you should probably talk to josrocket.
