I swear.. every FPS you bring up will just be countered with that argument every time. Guess what? Greatest game ever? PONG! Yeah.. we wouldn’t have video games without PONG. /thread.

No with the invention of 007 N64 game being years ahead the makers went back in time to develop pong to set off this wave that way 007 could be invented even though it was already around…put that in your pipe and smoke it

PONG would be nothing without Computer Space.
Computer Space would be nothing without Spacewar.
Spacewar would be nothing without computers.
Computers would be nothing without the abacus.
the abacus would be nothing without Sumerian culture.
Sumerian culture would be nothing without agriculture.
Agriculture would be nothing without plantlife.
Plantlife would be nothing without photosynthetic cells.
Photosynthetic cells would be nothing without the Lord God Almighty.
FF7 was better simply because it brought everything 3 and 5 did to the table, plus revolutionary graphics, that is why 7 always gets my vote.

For those who haven’t played or heard of the game, here’s a taste of what you missed out on.
Im pretty sure i had the basketball game for my SNES, but i really liked perfect dark and gauntlet legends as well.

I have to agree with Gilmore here. I was disappointed in the ending that argument. I was like, “Holy crap, this is good” and then suddenly, “Nope. Nope, this is fail.”
By the way, I saw this show sometime within the last year on maybe the History Channel about the abacus (or maybe it was just a short segment about it) and in Japan, kids are taught to use it super fast. It’s *edited*ing crazy. I found a clip on youtube.
