SpectatorAdmin Rules
- Abide by and follow all server rules at all times.
- Enforce the server rules within reason. (Don’t be a Nazi.)
- Do not use any Admin Commands against another Admin.
- All disputes will be handled over IRC or the Forums and will be moderated by an Executive.
- Do not run a map vote or change the map if the server is more than half full.
- Do not use any Admin Commands against a player without justification.
- Do not spam any Admin Commands. (I.e. Slap)
- Do not swear over any public Admin channels. (I.e. amx_tsay, sm_say)
- Do not permanently ban any suspected hackers/cheaters without a demo.
- Do not permanently ban players who are being racist/sexist. Ban them for 24 hours and notifiy the executives with what was said and their Name + SteamID.
- Do not purposely ban yourself.
- Post demos for ban appeals within 24 hours of the appeal.
- Do have fun! It’s why we are here.
Maintaining Admin Status
- Be a current student, staff member, executive, previous executive, or alumni of Western Carolina University.
OR
- Post at least ten times per month on the WCU Gaming Club Forums.
- Idle IRC in the #wcugaming channel. (If possible)
- Follow all server and admin rules.
- Maintain a minimum of 5 hours of activity in the server per semester thereafter.
- There may be exceptions to any of the above.
Notes
- Admin’s will operate on a ‘three-strikes and you’re out’ policy. (There may be exceptions to this.)
- Breaking any of the above rules will result in a single ‘strike’.
- Each time there is a ‘strike’ given, a PM will be sent to the offending Admin, and CC’d to the Gaming Club President, Webmaster, and the Council Leader.
- At the third ‘strike’, the offending Admin will be suspended for a period of thirty (30) days.
- Any Admin who has been suspended, who reaches the ‘three strike’ limit again, will be taken to the Executive Council to vote on whether or not to permanently remove that person from the Admin Team.
- The Council Leader may, at any time, revoke any Non-Executive Admin status for any reason. If this occurs, the Admin may dispute it with the Executive Council.
——-
These are the rules the online admins must abide by. If you feel any of the admins has broken these rules, then please notify the council leader or other club executive.
