If the first contest is going to be used as a test run, then I guess there’s no reason for us to put up fliers. Word of mouth alone should bring in enough guinea pigs. Still, it would be good to plan out when it will go down, who will judge, and whether or not there will be a prize. If the contest is successful and we want to do it again, we should plan it out carefully and advertise it around campus well in advance.
Honestly, one of the reasons I care about this is because I spent $45 on an antique bell for my costume. If I find out the contest has been cancelled, I’ll personally hunt down the son-of-a-*edited* responsible and kick his *edited* in.
