Don’t forum spam – I would say that 90% of the posts you made this morning were fluff and had nothing to do with the thread.
Are you trying to hit the number of posts for admin?
And I am not completely sure, but someone will correct me if I am wrong, but you are NOT supposed to advertise clans on the forums or servers.
Edit: If you are gonna post Random stuff, do it in the Random section – not the CS:S section.
you are correct peanut. and i back this up altair. people don’t appreciate posting 100 times in one day, unless it’s NoDice, and then we’re just used to it. Even if you did want to post all those things, surely you could’ve found another thread to post them in?
oh and btw. you no get higher number post count for starting a thread. so starting 50 new threads will leave you at 0 posts

I guess if you really want posts or something like that. Then just make a thread, only 1 thread, multiple would *edited* people off, and just have a conversation to yourself. Cause this way the people who participate (only you) would know what the hell is going on/what’s said. And most people wouldn’t read it or check it because they have other (better *ahem) things to do.

Saying the point system sucks is not a very good post its spam, saying the point system sucks and then giving reasons why you think so and things we can do about it is a good post.

the spammer does have a point. Just because a noob kills you, doenst mean the noob is a noob. the noob may be a noob to the server, while he is a noob waiting for his cal match to start.
The point system is set up the way it is so that new players can actually compete with those like yourself that have 8000 points. It would seem pointless to have a system that keeps them low and you high. When you kill others that are ranked similar to yourself then you will get the normal amount of points.
I’m not changing the system so that killing someone with 8000 points is equal to killing someone with 10 points. The new people would never get anywhere and the high ranked would never lose any.
oh easy to fix, remove HLstatsX and replace it with just a normal rank without POINTS or get psychostats…???
imagine if you could toss a flashbang and the guy would be blind and stunned so they would stumble back, possibly fall over the ledge, and die from the fall lol
who cares about their rank? just have fun, jeez

I think it is interesting to point out that the policy that you have for points is similar to a democratic tax policy lol

I was merely defending the system that’s been in place since well before I took the CL position. I don’t agree with some parts of it but it’s better than the alternative and seems to work for most.
Are you insinuating that Obama stole my idea? If so I’ll promptly change the point system to something less communistic.
After thinking things through, and lol’ing in other pubs, i realized, what about the mod that give (extra points) for
-Most damage a round
-2x kills 3x,4x,5x etc. I’m not sure if its incorperated in the current version, or if its even usable with the current mod used. Just a healthy suggestion
